Sleeping Patterns....
Jona always has no problem in falling asleep and it is so easy to babysit him even when he is a baby or now. I still remember when he is a baby, when it is time to sleep, no matter where I bring him (shopping or etc..), he will just fall asleep so easily. It just reminds me that he even fall asleep when I’m in the midst of massaging him during baby massage class!!!
Definitely not Iz. Nowadays, every night, no matter how late he went to bed, he definitely need to ‘chit chat’ with me or Dadi before he can snooze off.

Name represent personality....?
Isaac means bring joy and happiness
Noel mean born on Christmas day
Soong means PRAISE (in Chinese) for his Chinese name.
Overall, I want him to bring joy and happiness to my life and indeed till today, he never fail to make me happy (of course angry too). And, when I know that I’m expecting again, I really hope he will born on Dec as I just like December month. That’s why I name him Isaac Noel.
Previously, when a lot of my friends/relatives/mom told me that name do represent one person personality or character, I don’t really believe it.
Scenario 1:
One fine evening, after taken their dinner:
Iz: Kor kor, you want to marry who ar?
Iz: Rachel, Rachel
Jona: *smile sheepishly* I think Rachel (his classmate)
Jona: How about you, Iz?
Iz: *Spontaneous* I wait till I grow long; then, I will let GOD decide for me who I married.
Momi: *Speechless* I never imagine Iz would give so mature answer….
Scenario 2:
Iz cry want to drink Ribena:
Momi: I cannot leave you alone at home and sleep
Iz: Can
Momi: If you alone, then, you no scare ar?
Iz: No. Because I got GOD up there (pointing to sky) looking after me mah.
Momi: *speechless again* Can’t imagine my son know GOD is looking after him
Scenario 3:
Momi: Iz, who you love the most?
Iz: GOD the first one, then, Momi second, then, Dadi third…..
Now, if you ask me this question again, I would say I believe. How about you?

Are you ready yet......??
Because of my impatient to train him being diaperless, within 9 days, Iz fall sick twice ~ flu, cough and fever!!! I really feel bad and maybe, he is really not ready yet to be diaperless......To comfort myself: I still have 2 packs of diaper to be use (which would last Iz for another 2 months plus) and also, he is only 3 years 10 months + little boy.
Rather Iz be a HAPPY boy than a SICK boy....
Second attempt seem failure again!!!

Different kind of expression
During 4th day of CNY, we went back to my hubby hometown to celebrate our CNY with my hubby family. Immediately arrive grandpa house, both my sons so excited and happy when their grandpa told them, he want to bring them to see different kind of tortoises at temple nearby his house. Also at the same time, it mean I'll be having some of 'ME' time alone, hooray!!! And, Dadi is not to sure of just letting grandpa, his aunt and niece to watch out his 2 Baobei's, so, end up he follow as well.

Admitted Hospital - Again??!!
For me, as long as Iz is ok and fine, I really have no problem of admitting him for further monitoring, but, not with that kind of attitude from child specialist - without proper check and some explanation!!! I'm just wonder, where goes his medical ettique of treating patient with care!
Even staying in hospital, doesn't bring me satisfaction as well. Admitted on Sunday night, and when he came to see me around 10pm (bear in mind the time), he show me all the blood tests - to confirm that Iz has no problem at all......no deficit in blood glucose, no lack of calcium, etc....which might cause febrile fit and can't give me good excuse of why Iz got febrile fit(even myself know what is the reason).
And, on Monday morning, Iz is back to normal - happy and active and complaining that he want to go home and play with kor kor....when I ask Dr.Ting, he unhappily told me, he prefer to monitor Iz for 24 hour before give him OK sign to go home, and add some 'sarcastic' comment: "If he is fit to go home, I will definitely let him go home. I won't even force him to stay extra longer here at all" and left!!
Imagine, how rude of him acting as child specialist..And, on Monday night, when he came visit, , he came around 10.30pm!!! And, Iz and myself already fall asleep. When he came in, he say "So fast asleep already?" Like no so happy tone of not waiting for him. I like, 'Huh, Hallo? What is the time already? Even my next door patient also fall asleep, imagine me taking care of cranking Iz.......
On Tuesday morning, I packed all Iz stuff and waiting to be discharge, and when he came, he really not happy and saying "I really have no reason to hold him back if you really want to be discharge"........

'6 + 9' = LOVE
Have you hear of this simple calculation before? It is so simple & easy!! I learn this from lil Iz. He teach me this......
While we waiting for Jona to finish his music class, Iz found this 2 alphabets near the toy basket. First, he show me number 6 and ask me to read it, then, he show me number 9. And, suddenly, he told me " Momi, see, a heart shape" with a proud smile......
"Wow" is my expression as I didn't imagine Iz could be so creative or so loving......I guess he try to tell me - He LOVE me. How sweet of him.
Sometimes I just really underestimate my sons capabilities or creativeness..

Unforgetful Day!!
What I did is, keep telling him that he will be going to his aunty(nanny house) after he brush his teeth, change to uniform, etc...if I mention 'school', he will cry and insist of not doing anything. I even have to 'plot' with Jona to mention only aunty when Iz asked why change to uniform, why wear brief, etc...(Thank you so much, Jonathan for helping Momi out!!)
It is really heartbreaking of seeing Iz keep crying so many times in one day. He never cry so charm since he born till today. I thought of withdrawing him immediately from the school, when I see he so 'desperate' and 'unhappy' with schooling, but, Dadi stop me, saying, no matter how, he need to go through this phase of life - it is the matter of soon or later.
Before I decide to enroll him to this kindy, I did some preparation like telling him about it for the past 4 - 5 mths, but, everytimes I mention it, he will just say "NO"..and I even bring him along to fetch Jona from daycare daily, to familiar him with school environment and teachers as well....but, he just insist of NO.
Imagine, on first day, when I drop him in school, he cried so hard saying "Momi, don't go"....and then, when driver aunty come and fetch him to nanny house, he cried again, saying "I want my mommy"....."How come not my mommy come and fetch me one?" "I want to go my house".....
And, when driver aunty said, yes, I'm bringing you back home, he stop crying, but, immediately when he see driver aunty by pass his house, he keep crying again till reaching nanny house, keep saying "I want my house"..."I want my mommy"...."I dont' want aunty-nanny".....
When I go and fetch him from his nanny house later in the evening, his eyes look swollen like have been crying for several times....you said, heartbreaking or not?
Today, it is Dadi task to send him to school...Even before going to school, Iz has informed Dadi "Daddy, today you go to school with me, okie?" (Showing some pitiful face)..."I don't like the teacher"...."I so scared".....
And, true enough, when Dadi drop him at school gate, he cry again....and need teacher to hold him again and comfort him...
Now, I'm in dilemma of whether to forfeit the fee which I have paid throughout this year or just let him cry daily (not sure till when)...what do you think? Is Iz too young to go kindy? He is 2 years plus but, if calculate using year, he is 3 years old now...
"Baobei, Momi just want the best for you, and seeing you crying daily when sending you to school, isn't make Momi proud, instead it make Momi heart sad and heartbreaking. I pray to GOD to give you happiness. I always love you, baobei".
