Fish SPA

On Labour Day, hubby suddenly propose going to Pavillion for a walk since we never been there yet. And, suddenly, HealthFreakMommy - Fish Spa trigger my memory, so, I propose my hubby and mom to go and have a try.

When I asked Iz whether he would like to join us for the fish spa, immediately he said 'YES'. But, not Jona, he just insist 'no', and even force us not to go in, but, after some persuasion saying that he can join us, but, just sitting beside us, he agree finally.

And, hubby is also another culprit that I need to persuade as well, cause he just thinking the water is too dirty with so many people (who doesn't know whether their leg is ok or not), and might get some disease or whatsoever. But, when seeing my mom and myself going for it and it is not expensive, he willing to give it a try.

My legs

See, immediately I put down my leg, all the small and cute fishes came to nibble my legs. Initially it is so 'geli' but, after a while, really like no feeling at all. My mom and hubby keep complaining saying it is not fair at all, cause all the fishes nibble my legs and not theirs. And, not worth the money for them...ha,ha...I don't know why, but the fishes really just nibble my legs lor for 30 mins ler(so hardworking fishes).....he,he..

Hubby legs

Anyway, I just think the small fish even though a lot, but, really no 'power' ler, but, it is really a big different, when suddenly a big fish come and nibble on my leg - can feel it.

Conclusion:

Hubby - definitely won't go for second times cause immediately after he pull out his legs, he washes it for so long and once reach home, he washes his leg again.....He just doesn't trust the water, :P

Me - I won't be going anymore, even I do enjoy it for a while. Unless they change all the fishes to big fish. If still small fishes, aiyah...no feeling, so, no enjoyment.

Mom - She also won't go anymore liao, cause she said just for experience.....

Sleeping KING

My mom came to visit us again, but, for short period only before she off to my sis house. Anyway, I grab the opportunity to go shopping again after being 'stuck' at home for several months. With my mom, it is easier to manage my 2 boys...heard Math calculation: 1+1 = my mom will help me manage Jona, while I manage Iz, how easy.

I tho I would have a smooth shopping trip. Who know, I end up having lunch, quick shopping for a while before head home. My 2 boys just won't 'co-operate' with me.

Jona usually is the easy going boy. He will sleep when it is his sleeping time, said he usually sleep around 2pm, even though we go shopping or travel by car back hometown, he will sleep no matter how, which make me so adore him.....

For Iz, since baby, no matter when I bring him out for shopping, attend wedding lunch or dinner etc, he just won't sleep till he is fasten onto his car seat. Like last weekend, Jona sleep so soundly inside his stroller, while for Iz, he just being so playful. So, how to shopping in peace lor?

And, when Jona wake up, it is time to go home....and the funny part is, as predict, immediately we enter our car, and fasten seat belt for Iz on his car seat, within 3 mins, he doze off. And, when I told my mom about it, suddenly he wake up and said "Momi, quiet...." and zzzzz again.

How to shopping like this?

Musician....??

I have been enroll Jona for music class since a month ago, and it seem out of all these 'extra' classes that I enroll for him, he enjoy music class the most (which I quite surprise of it)......

And, since the class is only for 45 mins duration, and with condition that the last 15 mins, parent need to be with them, I got no choice except to wait there with Iz. And, Iz seem to be influence by his kor kor's music class too. He just love it so much, and can even sing the song and dance (even though he only attend it for 15 mins per session).

The proof of Iz love toward music can be shown as below:-
a) Initally, I don't know what he doing since he lock himself in the playroom while I busy cooking. But, I manage to snap the photo from the opening window. Can't see clearly yet. Except the music that came from the keyboard that he press on.

b) A closer look. Still unsure what he is doing now...

c) To my surprise, he even pretend to put a book on the board like pretending it is a keynote book.

d) Like he is playing a piano in front of audience by being concentrate looking on his 'keynote' book....Wow, a true lil musician huh?

Ha,ha....so cute and adorable the action, right? But, his action make me rethink again of whether I should enroll Iz for a toddler music class....Initially, my plan is only enroll him for music class when he is 4 yrs old and another thing, that make me relunctant to is that, he just stick to me like a 'UHU' glue....and if I enroll him for this toddler class, then, I need to be with him for 30 mins.....

Maybe, I should just enroll him for a trial class and see the outcome........geeee, all my money gone of paying fee for their 'classes'.....but, it is an investment that I need to do to secure their future.

Travel: Nice weather

Finally, I'm able to read mommies blog after several days....Yup, I'm on travelling again, and the weather being so nice here.....I just love it a lot except when it rain. This is a heavy travelling, being to all cities except Brisbane in a week time!! Imagine, spend almost equivalent time on flight rather than on land....anyway, use to it and nowadays, just enjoy it so much.

And, guess what? Ha,ha...called me "Old fashion", etc....but, this is really a first time, I seeing so nice toilet paper in Oz here.....just make me want to go loo more frequent :P

It is nice, isn't it? And, it is so soft too....actually I don't mind at all use it to wipe my sons face, ha,ha..compare to our M'sian toilet paper.

Good helper

Nowadays, I know that it is just so impossible to not having a maid, and if possible, everyone like to have a good and reliable maid/helper......For me, I choose not to have maid, since I'm travelling quite frequent and I don't know what my maid will do to my princes(after heard so many horror stories) when I'm not around....plus don't ever expected me to leave my princes with my maid alone at home.....

So, since maid is not my choice, I have to find a reliable helper.....Know what it is.....My dryer machine...he,he....currently.

My hubby has been persuaded me to buy dryer since 2000 when we are still staying in apartment. He told me how nice and useful, blah,blah...and you know me - very stubborn woman and not easily convince..So, I keep saying no, no, no...till middle of last year, he just somehow manage to convince me and maybe, after so many years, I do agree with him.

Even tho the dryer came to our house, I just don't use it and still prefer to dry my kids clothes on sunlight(so, half way sleepy and suddenly the dark cloud covering my sunshine, I have to rush out my house to bring in the clothes during weekend - just imaging). Only my mom is a good user and fully utilise it till end of last year. She as senior people really praise the dryer, how good it is, etc....I really impressed with my mom of no problem in learning all those 'Hi-Tech' stuff. So before my mom went back hometown, she teach me how to use it, etc.....

And, from that day onward, I never look back anymore....and, don't even bother whether it is raining outside or shinny or whatever...cause I have a reliable and good helper - DRYER to help me dry the clothes!! Can have a nice nap with my kids inside the house.....zzzzz

A bit regret of not buying it earlier when hubby propose...ha,ha....
See, my good helper, even can separate the money/coin out for me from the clothes.....and, the dust/sand/etc.....

It just make my house chores getting much more easier and I just realise that sometimes, I don't really need to have a human helper(which will make me burst my blood vessel if they are not well behave) but, with all those machine helper which has it own functionality, it is much more than enough........

How Sweet & Lovely.......

Recently, Iz just love to take photo album and look at it....funny part, he only choose his own photo album. Yeah, I did separate few photo albums - one for Jona, one for Iz, and together, as well as family.....I don't know how he know, but, he just know that blue photo album is belong to him.

So, here is the cute conversation between me and Iz - regarding the content of his photo album:-

His 1st Photo Album - contain his photo from day 1; even inside the OT (fhuiyoo...luckily, my gynae so sporting and allowed us to snap some pic, of course lor, think about it, the surgery cost us a BOMB!) But, it worth the memories....

Iz: Momi, why the baby open his mouth big big one?
Momi: Ooo...dr need to suck the fluid from baby mouth
Iz: Momi, where is momi? How come no Momi one?
Momi: *Smiling* Momi lying on the table for Dr to 'open' up...see momi tummy - pointing to my tummy

Iz: Momi, why the baby sleep there one?
Momi: Ooo...because Iz so tired, so, Iz sleep on Iz own bed
Iz: But, where is Momi? I want Momi **and wanted to start crying liao*
Momi: Momi in momi recovery room

Iz: Momi, why no Iz one?
Momi: *Smile* Got, this is Iz, when Iz is baby
Iz: Ooooo....(feel so happy)

Iz: Momi, how come no Momi one?
Momi: Got Dadi with Iz mah - point to Dadi
Iz: No, no..I don't want Dadi. I want Momi (and start to scream and crying saying he doesn't want Dadi but want Momi)
Momi: Got, got, just that for this picture, Momi take photo (and open to next photo and show him: Momi and Iz)

Iz: yeah, yeah, Momi and Iz, Momi and Iz

See.....so sweet of him ler.....every pictures, definitely must see momi one, if not, he will feel bad and start to cry....Ha,ha...so inseparable. My sweet little darling....

Tag: 6 Non Important Things About Me

It seem that I have lack of Tag for quite some times already, till Leoni send to me again......thanks ya!

These are the rules:
Link to the person that tagged you.
Post the rules on your blog.
Share six non-important things/habits/quirks about yourself.
Tag six random people at the end of your post by linking to their blogs.
Let each random person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their website.
So here you go...

1. I don't take lunch, but, of course with heavy breakfast. I don't know why but, I just able to stand till dinner time. And, if I do take lunch, I don't eat mix rice......
2. After deliver Iz, I just don't feel sleepy no matter what/how/etc during office hour. Never ever open my mouth or feel tired at all till when I babysit my kids to sleep. It is so funny even though sometimes I had heavy lunch, whereas my colleagues all complain sleepy but, I just feel so energetic.
3. I'm very 'loyal'. My colleague introduce me ice cream stick with red bean flavour. So from that day onward, I always eat that flavour and never want to change at all.
4. I always dot down on my own calendar regarding my own duty rooster at home. When I 'bath' my fishes, sweep the floor, etc......guess I'm old liao.
5. All the photos in my laptop, on my desk is full of my boys photo from newborn till today. Guess I just so crazy about them.
6. I'm a lousy driver. I really hate park my car in side parking or reverse my car into the parking. If I do, I need to take longer time to do it even though my car is small....ha,ha

I won't pass this tag to anyone, but, if you free to do it. Please do it, so I know you better :)

How you entertain your kids during meal time?

During dinner outside my house, I just need to prepare something for my kids - entertain them while I enjoy my food. Otherwise, I won't have peaceful meal. I don't know, both of them just won't sit long enough to really enjoy the food or maybe, since young, they are not trained to sit and finish the food.

My hubby always comment: "I just don't know what I have eaten"....everytimes, if we went out for dinner at food court, etc.....cause he has to eat pretty fast and when is my turn, he has to entertain both of his princes....or feed them while he eat.

But, last weekend, while we eat at steamboat restaurant which using porridge as their 'soup'(very nice and yummy ler), I have well prepare some activites for Jona and Iz. Of course lor, eating with relatives ler, so, must show some manners ....

See, Jona just so concentrate on doing some colouring on the book. In earlier day, I have purposely ask Dadi, go and buy magic colour so, he can do some colouring or drawing later on. And, he really behave well. Eat properly and throughout the meal time, he just sitting there without moving around.

For Iz, luckily, my hubby niece give him a 'crystal ball'. It is a tiny ball, which if you add water, it will expand and become pretty big ball - like a size of one cent coin or bigger. And, Iz quite fascinate with it.....but, too bad, it won't last long enough.

I guess, when kid grow up, they will start to behave well during meal time. Definitely not for kid that is below 4 years old, like Iz.......

BaBy, BaBy, BaBy

My biological clock is ticking very fast now, and I know that I'm not that young anymore which I can think of when to have baby.......

Actually, middle of last year, everyone esp from my family - mom, bro, and sis, has been keep asking me to consider when I plan to have a BaBy GIRL....yes, a baby girl. Reason: because I still don't have baby girl yet, and they all think that I should have a baby girl cause girl more filial, etc....which I know it is true (in reality).

And, Iz nanny too. Keep telling me that I need to have a baby girl, cause Iz is so cute and good boy, so, she said it is a pity if I don't have to have another one when I told her, I'm not planning to have baby anymore. She even want to book me for my next baby, and give me assurance that she will babysit my baby.....ha,ha..so nice of her.

Anyone ask me to have one, I won't so bother about it. I will just inform them nicely saying "I think I'm happy with 2 lovely princes and not to plan to have anymore".....Till early of this year, one night, suddenly hubby ask me

Hubby: "Are you sure you don't want to have anymore baby"?
Me: "Sure, no more. Scare lar" Why?
Hubby: You sure?! Cause you always want to have baby girl ler.....no regret?
Me: Ha,ha....no regret, even tho I really want to have baby girl, but, how sure you, that I will pregnant with baby girl. If boy come out, how?
Hubby: yalor hor....
Me: Taking care of 2 boys is not easy ler....blah,blah..blah...

And, he just keep quiet liao.....and he keep 'asking' me for several night, and some more, try to influence or hint me to have another baby.

I just feel miserable......should I go for another baby or just firm on my decision of stopping at 2? Actually, my wish is to have 3 kids - 2 boys and 1 girl, and it seem so coincident, at the moment, I already have 2 boys with GOD blessing.

While I keep thinking about it, my biological clock keep ticking away. It is easy to plan for baby, but, raising a kid is really a demanding job which at the moment, I don't think I'm a good mommy and capable of raising 3 kids....he,he...

I want it too.....

Do you face this kind of situation daily? I do.....

Nowadays, whatever I bought either for Jona or Iz, I need to buy 2 sets. Otherwise, Jona will insist that he want to have same thing like Iz, or start to cry when Iz doesn't let Jona play with it. Same goes for Iz......If I buy new tumbler for Jona, he will insist to have the same. If not, then, when I or Jona didn't realise it, he will 'steal' and drink from Jona tumbler!!

Same goes for toys, towels, etc....anything you can names it except clothes (ha,ha..don't ask me, I don't know why for clothes, they are happy with my decision). Both of them need to have it even thought the pattern might be different. Sometimes, I hate to buy same thing for both of them, cause it left me with not much choices or varieties.
How you manage this kind of situation with more than 2 kids?

How influencing.......

I just wonder how influencing your mom on you when you need to make decision on which brand to choose...For me, my mom play an important role in influencing me (indirectly).

When I was young, I saw my mom save some money just purely want to buy some nice quality container - Tupperware. At that moment, I just think it is nothing special about this brand, etc....but, over the years, my sis also buy Tupperware for daily use. And, even now, my house also got some Tupperware container from my mom.......Initally I just not willing to spend extra money on Tupperware brand, till recently, I have the urge to buy it, and within a day, I spend around RM 500+ on it.......exclude RM 200+ earlier for buying tumbler, etc for my kids. Now, only I appreciate Tupperware brand, if compare to normal container, etc....there is a different. Since my mom is not around, I will be the one who manage my household, so, only now, start to invest like my mom used too before......I only really realise it when I start to manage my household..........
Hubby comment: "This kind of thing can only 'cheated' siew lai lai to buy"

Another brand, that I plan to invest without doubt is wok and pan - for cooking. Have you heard of AMC brand? It is very expensive wor, but, funny, my mom got whole set of it at home. And, trust me, it is really so easy to use and it won't stick on the pan, etc.....with the 'metering' guide you. At the moment, I manage to 'steal' a saucepan and small pot from my mom.....Since I'm not ready or plan to cook yet( I mean 'invest' myself to learn to cook), so, this project will be delayed at the moment.....maybe, I think I will only plan to have it when I become SAHM.

Bang, bong, bang, bong......

First it happen on Jona.....See his side face, near the eyes....got bruise and quite serious too.....I really thanks GOD that he didn't injure his eyes cause it is very near to his eyes....how it happen? Well, one day, while Dadi is taking shower, suddenly Jona want to pass urine and he happily run into the bathroom. He didn't realise that the floor is wet (cause Dadi always like to wet the whole bathroom when he take shower). So, **BANG**.....before he manage to pass urine, he slip and bang his head on the toilet bowl!!!

And, after few days later, it is Iz turn. After came back from attending neighbour kid birthday party and ready to go to sleep, suddenly Iz climb on a chair and play clock on the table. He didn't realise that slowly or without realising it, he push the chair backward. And, suddenly, he just grab the table like monkey or someone who try to grab something from top roof before lost balance and fall down. And, I really don't know how he manage to injure himself like this....and the blood just flush out non stop. We thought it is quite serious and need stitches...Luckily, this time, GOD did send Angel to protect Iz.

I really do hope that both of them esp Iz won't got permanent scar....Otherwise, no more 'leng chai' liao. It is really hard to keep an eyes on both boys.........maybe, should hire 2 maids to watch them 24 hours :)

Travel: Taiwan

Iz: Momi, you come back ok?
Me: Why?
Iz: I so scared. You come back and sleep with me, ok?
Me: You got Dadi and Kor kor wor
Iz: No, I want Momi.....**with tears on his eyes

Yeah, I start travelling again after stop for a month.....Everytimes, I travel, I do miss my boys so much esp Iz, cause he will cry when talking to me and plead me to come back home fast. And, everytimes, I do wish my dream of becoming SAHM will be realise soon, which I doubt about it nowadays.....and it will always be my 'sweet' dream.

This time, I really worries so much about leaving Jona and Iz back home with Dadi. Past few days, suddenly Iz got mouth ulcers and till today, he still complaining mouth pain and can't drink or eat much or even sleep well(keep wake up half way).....And, yesterday, what got me worry sick is Jona. Suddenly, after came back from shopping, Jona got mild fever, and today, the fever still there, and need to take medication on time.

Sometimes, I do envy those kids whose mommy is SAHM. At least, when they need their mommy, she is around there with them. It is the best medicine for the kid to have mommy around. I know my kids most. When they are sick, with proper medication and proper care (like boiling crythaneum for Iz scenario, apply and massage Jona with Vicks whole body and wear sock, both of them will recover fast) and be active and naughty again next day.....

But, rely on hubby or nanny, it just being so hard. Like today, I remind Dadi to ask nanny to boil some herb for Iz, and it is not done and when Iz back home tonite, complaining mouth pain again thru phone to me. This morning, before I off to airport, I even see he asking for milk and finish all in one shot and not complaining of mouth pain.......

And, for Dadi, I just wish he could learn how to take care of his kids without me being around 24 hours (I mean on my internet connection, keep MSN or SMS me)....Everytimes, he seem too use to it. Before I left, he always ask me to write down, hour by hour, day by day, what need to be done on his kids, like bath/feeding schedule - when to drink water/milk, etc. Conclude, he just need me to teach him every second what to do.....I'm thinking, if I can be a super woman, how come he can't act as a capable daddy just for a day??

It just make me feel useless at all even though I know business trip meaning some ME time, but, if given me a choice, I would rather be at home act as 'maid' to my sons rather than being keep update about my sons situation and being helpless. It is really a 'torturing' moment for me. All I could said "That's life".

Miserable Milk Feeding

Not sure about you all, but, since I become mommy, I, myself 'hate' milk so much. Actually, I do love to drink milk and esp when I'm expecting: Imagine, in a day, I can consume milk 5x!! He,he.....But, guess, since I love to drink milk during pregnancy, it make both my sons 'hate' drinking milk so much(indirectly)......I still love to drink milk but not feeding the milk, for sure.

For Jona, since baby, I just have problem of feeding him milk. And, I feel bad when he doesn't want to drink milk at all throughout the night (which initially, I didn't know that it is normal). When he is 4 or 5 mths old, he can survive without milk for 8 or 9 hours during day time. Never cry for a milk. Thanks to my patient mom, that use spoon to feed him if he couldn't finish the milk from the bottle......

And, I thought I might get escape from Iz. Who know, another culprit who hate milk. With Iz, I'm too impatient of using spoon, so, what I do. I use 'syringe'!! Hey, it is even faster. I even purposely purchase 10ml syringe for this purpose(keep several as stock). People thought using syringe for injecting medicine, etc....but, definitely not for me.

Now, Iz so clever, when he couldn't finish his milk or when he cried asking for milk and I prepare for him, suddenly after one or two sip, he stop....automatic, he will told me "Momi, pump, pump" - meaning get the syringe and pump the milk into his mouth!!!

Iz just bully me.......He even dare tell me "I finished milk at auntie house, but, home, I don't finish milk"......And, his nanny confirm that Iz always finish the milk that she prepare for him without much problem....

Is my sons 'bully' his mommy??

Full of tricks/ideas

I didn't realise that Jona now, is really full of ideas/tricks when he or Iz need to have something.

One night(on the bed), while I try to 'force' them to sleep, which they just don't want, and still want to play in dark. So, I just pretend to be asleep.

Iz: Mommy, I want Dadi....(keep repeating, initally, his voice is soft, and then, louder when I still ignore him)
Jona: Mommy, I want Dadi....(he also want Dadi to come up and sleep with him)..still ignoring them.

Suddenly, Jona said

Jona: Iz, why don't you pretend asking Momi for a water....then, when Momi give you, you said you don't want...and ask for Dadi.

Me, so surprise to hear Jona trick of 'waking' me up and help him call Dadi to sleep with him.....

So, lil Iz: Momi, I want water, I want water....and I give him water, immediately he said, I don't want. Momi, I want Dadi.....

He,he...finally their tricks work!! And, Momi give up by calling Dadi to sleep with them...

Yesterday night, while I busy washing the dish, Iz suddenly want to eat tibit. So, he asking whether can or not.....as usual, you know me "Anti-Tibit".....

Iz: Momi, can I eat this tibit?
Momi: Nope. Cannot
Iz: But, I wan....
Momi: Cannot, you haven't finish drink your milk. Tomorrow, eat ok?
Iz: I only eat one ar....
Momi: Nope.

Jona came in to rescue.

Jona: Iz, come, bring the tibit. We go find Dadi and ask him for permission, okie?
Iz blur blur agree and so happily hug the container and look for Dadi.

Jona: Dadi, can I eat the tibit?
Dadi: Momi said cannot, cause you haven't finish your milk milk.
Jona: Who said....I finished already....Nah..show the empty milk bottle...

**Alamak** Dadi didn't know that actually Jona has finished his milk and only Iz hasn't....so, they got to eat the tibit together.....
I guess I should be happy that Jona able to think of ideas/solutions to fix the situation......kid nowadays is really superb smart..not sure whether it is because of the milk??!

Wonderful Moments......

Jona, nowadays, love to 'sayang' his didi, Iz. I don't know why, but, when he mis-behave, no one can stop him. He will act so naughty, just like 'gangster' or 'samseng'.....even cane or scold won't be effective anymore.

But, when he act like angel, it will be time when he will keep 'sayang' his didi, kiss him, give him whatever didi request to....

Is it weird? Anyway, I just love to capture this moment, cause it won't happen daily just like rainbow(only happen when there is a sun after rain)....

All these photos is taken upon request from Jona.....

Hypermarket - Playground

You know, I started to fall in love with GIANT....Yeap, Giant, hypermarket.....why? Because they really have NICE, BIG & CLEAN playground for kids to play.

I have been to Giant, Bandara Kinara, which the playground is really huge and Hi-Tech, and Jona as well as Iz, just don't want to leave the playground once we arrived. They really have lot of fun. It is good, cause while Dadi busy entertain them at the playground, Momi can have more time to do some marketing at my own leisure time.

Good marketing right? And, they do have small playground in Giant, Bandar Puteri too. Really small, that only have 1 sliding, and few moveable toy machine(I don't know how you called it, which need to insert 50 x 2 cents coin). For this, the special part is, it doesn't need to insert coin. By just pressing certain green button, it will move and when stop, just press again....so, it will be continous....which in another word, mean, if there is a kid who want to sit on it for long time, then, you just have to wait patiently for your turn :).

I guess, all hypermarket or supermarket need to have these kind of playground, so, Dadi or Momi won't be dragging them along to do marketing.....

All because of Chewing Gum

One thing that I love my hubby is, he has good manner. First day I know him, he already got this attitude of never throw rubbish out from car. He will just throw all the rubbish inside a plastic bag inside the car, and throw it when he stop the car or see a dustbin.
Last weekend, after fetching Jona from his class, while on the way driving back home peaceful - with Jona and Iz playing together happily, didn't I realise anything till Iz start crying and keep pulling his head. I tho it is Jona who 'whack' Iz head so hard, and I try to comfort Iz by just simply rub his forehead.

Who know, Iz still crying non stop, and point to the location. When I touch using my hand, suddenly my heart just sank. I tho he got 'big' lump on his head, and when I stop the car and look carefully,......**Oh my GOD**...You know what? There is a chewing gum stuck on Iz hair.....

Suddenly I just got angry with Jona, and he told me innocently, that he got the chewing gum from his sandal....so, without knowing that it is a chewing gum, and being playful, he just pull it and stick to Iz hair.

Jona insist I 'clean' his sandal.....

Who is the irresponsible person - of throwing the chewing gum in public? Don't these people know a simple manner? If I even know who did it, I definitely will give him a good lecture!!!

With Iz still crying and Jona feel bad, I just become so clueless of what to do with it. Hubby suggest to trim Iz hair...and it is definitely a no no for me. His hair is so soft and nice. I won't do it. And, suddenly, baby oil pop into my mind, and without thinking much further, I apply a lot of baby oil on Iz hair, and keep rub the chewing gum.

So 'charm' one.....till nose also turn red

Thanks, GOD!! It came off, of course, with lot of cyring, comfort, etc.....pity my Iz, become victim of irresponsible person.

In this case, I really dont' know whom should I angry with? Jona? Definitely it is not his fault.....

3D Puzzle

Jona love to do art & craft, or drawing. I guess he is more of the type that dislike going shopping or sport activities. He prefer to watch tv, play computer games, drawing etc....more 'lazy boy' I could said. Whereas for Iz, he just love shopping or 'kai kai' or 'tapau' or outdoor activities and he dislike watching tv!!!

Last year, toward Christmas Day, and I remember well, I was in last minute shopping for Christmas gift for my family, Jona keep misbehave, and I just can't concentrate on choosing a pressie for my nephew.

So, I just simply buy one 3D puzzle for him, at least, it will take up his leisure time and I could shop my stuff for a while.

Who know, without any instruction/guidance from me, he able to stick the 3D icon all by himself one by one on the exact location or choosing which size of sticker to be use, and the outcome is exactly as what the final picture shown.

And, now, I just wondering where I could get more of this stuff for Jona to do it in bigger size. But, I know, if I buy a new set for him, definitely he won't do as nicely as the first time he see it. Maybe, he get bored of it liao.....

TWIN??

Everytimes, when I bring my boys for shopping using strollers, I always get this remark from strangers or shop assistants: "Twin huh?" or, "Are both twin?" or "How old are them?" When I comment, both of them is 2 yrs plus gap, they will just replies "Oo, like that huh?" "But, both look really like a twin ler".....Pointing to Iz, "He doesn't even look like 2 yrs plus boy"....Me like?? Does that mean my lil Iz look so mature or Jona didn't put on weight??
When I'm not so happy with some of their comments, Dadi told me, not to push both strollers together, so, then, they won't said my boys is like twin. Like this also can ar???!!

Do you think both like twin when I put them in a separate strollers? Luckily it is not a twin stroller, otherwise, definitely for sure, it looks like twin. This is what I do when I need to bring them together for shopping. "Lock" in the stroller.....ha,ha..less mobile, easy to manage.

'Lovely Dovey' Day

"Happy Valentine Day, Momi!!" is a word came from Jona mouth once he saw me coming to pick him up from daycare. When he mention it, he really feel so happy and proud of himself.

"Momi, I passed this card to you, then, you give to Dadi and said, Happy Valentine to Dadi, ok?" Jona suddenly mention it when we reach our car porch. "Wowww".....it seem like Jona know the meaning of Valentine, does he? I just wonder what the teacher in school teach him about Valentine or explain to him about it.

And, yesterday whole nite, Jona has been keep holding the Valentine card that he make in school till this morning. Before sleep, he said "Momi, I love this card so much, that's why I bring it together with me to sleep".....so lovely.

Anyway, today, we won't be celebrating our Valentine (but Dadi has apply a day off next week Wed to celebrate it with me - hooray!!) due to I'm too busy preparing my presentation for coming strategy meeting....as well as since we got Jona, we don't celebrate it in big scale anymore....now, thinking of the past when I received lots of gift and surprise flower from Dadi as well as secret admirers..... he.he....

Bug, Bug go away......

Till today, I still feel so tired and exhausted. Yeah, not because of CNY preparation or go to visit my hubby relatives or friends or go to any places as what we had planned (Taiping Zoo or Hot Spring). This year, we just didn't went anywhere, except 'lock' ourselves at my FIL house in Ipoh.

Why? Both my princes has fall sick even before CNY....it started with Jona having a sudden cough, follow by flu and high fever one week before CNY. When Jona not feeling well, he totally just no mood to play or eat. Whole day, he will just laid on sofa, cough and had high fever.
While Iz 'took' advantage of this situation, and became 'KING' of the house. He can play whatever toys he want without anyone disturb or bully him.....he,he...and momi so busy handling kor kor, till didn't realise that Iz diaper has turn into 'buggy' bag........and see the cute 'apple' shape(buttock). He just being so happy playing alone all by himself. Of course, he will be disturbing me or Kor kor to play with him.

After Jona sick for a day, and taking medicine for fever as well as puff for cough, PLUS Momi boiled crysathemun tea for him, immediately he get better the next day. And, I tho I could do a last minute shopping before back to Ipoh. Who know, it is Iz turn!!

So, Iz also had same symptoms like Jona - high fever, flu and serious cough. So, when Iz not feeling well, Jona being so playful again. Just like 'playing' with me to see how strong am I.

And, after one day, Iz show signal of going to be recover soon, and who know, Jona condition started to become bad when he attend school on Monday. The following day, he get MC, and situation became worst as his paed predicted. And, both need to be on antibiotic, which paed give to Iz as well as precautious in case, he might need it.

This 'BACTERIA' just infected both of them non stop. One day is Jona, the another day will be Iz. This 'drama' continue till second day of CNY.......

Just imagine, how tired am I, being sleepless for some many nights. And, frankly speaking, this is the 1st CNY that I didn't celebrate it as usual instead of taking care of my boys (100%) at home!!.....But, thanks GOD, on the day when we plan to come back to KL, both recovered and now, back to normal life like 'leaving' the bug at Ipoh home.......what a nice start for 'RAT' year, I tho. And, I do wish this RAT year, it will bring more good health to my boys rather than MC........

'Gong Xi Gong Xi'

Yesterday night, Jona so happily sing a famous Chinese New Year song (he told me, is Uncle Yen, his school principal taught them how to sing - I guess because Chinese New Year is just around the corner). Frankly speaking, he sing quite well just the pronounciation is a bit 'run' but, overall he can finish the whole song.
.....the lyrics like....
"Gong xi gong xi gong xi ni ya"
"Gong xi gong xi gong xi ni"......

And, I told Dadi that on the way back to his hometown next week, we dont' have to switch on the tape/radio anymore, Jona can sing the CNY song and we will have the mood :P

So, here sincerely I would like to wish everyone 'Gong Xi Fa Cai', and may this year - Golden Mouse, bring lots of happiness, wealth, joy to you & your family.....

I try to ask Iz to join Jona to wish everyone, Happy Prosperous Chinese New Year, but, he just don't want...and he run away!!

"Good Husband"

I just remember that Tot's mom did write about this topic few days back in her blog....

Why I use this title as well is because it caught my attention when my ex-colleague send me an email.

I know Ellen when I join this company back in 2001, when I went to my HQ in Europe for a training. From there, we start develop into friendship beside being a colleague, and she indeed help me out a lot at initial stage.

And, after 2 years, she came to M'sia together with her husband, which so coincidence become my boss(now ex-boss). And, our relationship grow even deeper, where when both husband and wife on business trip, I will take care of their kids, etc....till they have hired a Filipino maid to assist them. And, they just went back to their country 1 year ago.

Recently, I received a shock email from Ellen. She told me that she got breast cancer on her right breast. And, today, she will undergo a surgery to remove the tumor, and not whole breast, which is a relieve to her. After the surgery, she will undergo few session of chemotherapy, etc...and she will be on long medical leave before she officially went back to work again.

It is really a heartache for me to know about it. I really feel so sad and down, cause all I could do is pray for her wellness and couldn't be by her side.....but, luckily, for her, she has full support from her husband. He cancel all his business trip just to be with his wife (well, I really salute him).

Even though she has to accept the fact, but, she still can make joke out of it. I asked her, how she manage to detect that she has a breast cancer....Here is her answer: "Not me who detect it. It is my husband. He found it out and then, we undergo biospy to confirm it. YOU need to have a GOOD HUSBAND!!"

Anyway, I really do wish she will recover fast and back to normal life again.....And, I guess life is so unpredictable. What I will do from now is try to eat balance meal and have healthy lifestyle...It is really easy to say but, hard to implement unless I have the determination to do it.

A Big Helper

Jona always love to give me surprise.....

On Friday night, I told my boys that if they sleep early and wake up early in the morning, finished their milk, then, I will bring them to play at playground near my house which they love it so much....since grandma went back, they seldom went to playground due to time constraint.

My fault as well.....both of them wake up around 7am!!! Really so early till I don't have a nice sleep....mmmm....anyway, both finished their milk and, Iz start calling "Momi, go playground", "Go playground, kick a ball".....while Jona keep watching tv non stop.

It is only 8am, and the sun is not really rise yet, plus the weather show like it is going to rain, so, I keep delaying Iz. Around 8.30am, Iz started to be impatient and started to disturb me doing housework, as well as disturbing Jona, and finally I give up.

I pass 1 set of t-shirt and pant to Jona and 1 set to Iz, asking Jona to get change and we can go playground. While I'm in the kitchen filling their tumble with water, I told Jona "If you have finish change, would you mind helping Iz?" Actually, I just ask for fun cause I know he won't do it(never help me out)....Who know, he reply "ok, ok, I will help Iz change, you no worry, ok?"

And, when I came out, and faster grab my phone camera, this is what I manage to snap....He already took off the pyjamas for Iz, and put on Iz shirt and pant......He is such a good boy (sometimes!!) and I just could feel that he is a big boy now(time flies so fast), which I could rely on him to take care of Iz in future ;P

A sweet pose by my boys before off to playground......yippeee!!!

No peace of mind

I'm always wondering why other kids so obedient when they are shopping with their parents but not my 2 rascals. Do their parents warned them to behave themselves in shopping mall in advance before leave home, or what methods did they use to control their kids?

Jona & Iz always being so playful, I could conclude when they are out from their comfort home. Can't really sit properly during meal time or when mommy or daddy busy shopping(looking around).

The only way, I could control them at the moment is: tight both of them in their own strollers, meaning I bring 2 strollers out everytimes, I bring them for a shopping.

Last weekend, I bring them to a furniture shop, cause we intend to purchase new mattress for my boys. We already got 1 single mattress from Geetha, and find it is really comfortable to sleep on...

While Dadi busy looking around, testing it with sale person, Momi has to chase them, shouting at them - 'don't climb on the mattress', 'your shoe is dirty', 'don't climb on sofa', etc.....just exactly like a crazy woman or mad woman, and I do really pissed off sometimes to manage them...wondering why should I suffered like this since I can't bring stroller into furniture mall....

At last, I just don't care, and this is what I did to my boys to control them for a while:-

Their 'tut tut' train....

Iz showing off his 'tut tut train'

Jona busy playing with his 'tut tut train'
Both at separate corner

By just pretending it is my 'home'....They just enjoy playing with their tut tut train on the coffee table(demo set which the shop intend to sale) which they bring together with them....and, I separate both of them - each one at one corner to prevent them from fighting when one cross another border line.....

Even though the sale lady or other customers keep looking at me with one kind of look, or smiling at my kids seeing their reaction of playing their toys, I just don't bother anymore...as long as they give me a peace of mind for a while, I'm really happy liao. At least, Dadi, can look at the pricing in more details without worry have to pay out of sudden for broken stuff.

**aiyah** Being a parent is really not easy, I just have to come out with good solution, at different time.

It is easy for you to control your kids when you go shopping?
