Super Character Champion Award

For those of you, that you enroll your kid in Fungate Concept kindy, sure you know what is this about. If I'm not mistaken, it is conducted every quarter, as Jona has been on this reward chart for twice (April and July).
Of course, there are 'Pros' and 'Cons' about this reward chart for me. Good thing is, I can 'threaten' Jona that if he not behave well, I won't colour his honey pot and he need to behave well. But, of course, I don't think I would like to use this kind of reward to change my son character just because of wanting the gift at the end.

But, one thing for sure, no matter how I 'threaten' him using this honey pot to tidy up his toys or etc, he just won't do it, and at the end, he just never get his honey pot to be colour for tidy up the room/toy/etc, which he doesn't mind at all!! Next time, if Iz got this kind of reward chart, I bet his honey pot will be colour for tidying stuff as he always did it now and then.

Cons about this rewarding chart are, I have to monitor and do the marking of things that he does and doesn't, which is not really easy at all to judge. And, have to submit it on every Monday of the week, and if I forgot, teacher will complain saying Jona is still not capable of passing the message back to parent (which it is not his fault at all!!) ~ blame to his momi for being forgetful.

See, what Jona get this time? I guess maybe, Jona able to score highest mark for this reward chart, that is why he got reward as 'Super Character Champion Award', and a small gift which everyone has it too - a small paper clipper.

Jona just super duper happy about it. Can't wait till back home and show it to me and even report to me what happen: "Momi, see, I got this award and the present for being good boy!!! Everyone also got it. Uncle Yuen called my name, and I stand up and go to front. Uncle Yuen give me and everyone clap their hands. Then, other people turn. I being the first one" and end with a cheeky smile.

It is just so easy to make a kid happy and motivated........

Bravo Jona!! I think you should emphasize the reward rather than threat.

If you do, you get your honey pot colored and not if you don't do, I will not color your honey pot.

You can tell he is very happy when he does well. :P

Mybabybay: True enough...but, if I say I won't colour if he don't do, he just don't bother about it at all....

Wen: He,he...thanks!!

MummytoQiQi & Waiwai: Honestly, if it is Isaac who got it, I might be proud, as Jona always does bring prizes back from school....but, of course, if he didn't, he will feel sad. When he sad, of course, mommy will feel sad too :P

Lybil: Ha,ha..yup..yup...save my energy to teach him..
