Sleeping Patterns....

How I wish I could just fall asleep so easily like my boys…..Hehe….
Jona always has no problem in falling asleep and it is so easy to babysit him even when he is a baby or now. I still remember when he is a baby, when it is time to sleep, no matter where I bring him (shopping or etc..), he will just fall asleep so easily. It just reminds me that he even fall asleep when I’m in the midst of massaging him during baby massage class!!!
Definitely not Iz. Nowadays, every night, no matter how late he went to bed, he definitely need to ‘chit chat’ with me or Dadi before he can snooze off.
The funny part, no matter how big the bed I provided to them(1 KING, 2 SINGLE BEDS), at the end, they will just 'stick' to each other in one single bed when I woke up in the morning.
This pix(s) are taken when they just snooze off without me realize it…haha…how cute!!

Favourite Place....

I couldn’t deny that ZOO is Jona & Iz’s favorite place to visit. Counting it back, it has been a yearly event for our family. And, to be honest, I don’t really fancy going to ZOO seeing those skinny or weak animals which is really being malnutrition and not proper taken care of, not forgetting lot of empty cages.

Now, the Zoo Management even promoting a lifetime card to visit ZOO unlimited rather than paying for ticket per entry. Mmmm….should I get those card for my kids?

Happy Smile....

Aiyoohhhh....why my eyes can't open ar??

Will the Elephant jump out...?

Let me feed, let me feed...

When I'm away........

And, when DADI is in charge of the house, this is what happen......If you not use to it, you might think that a thief break into my house - mess whole house. But, when you look carefully again, haha...the lil thieves are my 2 princes who forgot to tidy their toys once finished play with it + DADI who only know how to ON his laptop once back home.

Inside the playroom...

In the living room
The laundry basket...

Aiyooohhhhh........That's the scenario when I open my house door and try to step inside.

Acting as BIG brother.....

I don't know when Jona start to behave or acting like BIG Tai Kor......This scenario remind me that he now know how to control lil Iz or hide certain thing from my knowledge if he has too, maybe, now, he know that he is elder brother and has the right to do so.......

While I was cooking in the wet kitchen last weekend, suddenly Iz ran to me and file a complain:-

Iz: Momi, you see this...
Showing me the container that has been coloured on top of the cover.
Momi: mmm...yes, who did it?
Iz: It is kor kor, Jonathan.
I start calling Jona to come to the kitchen at once.
Momi: Jona, tell Momi, who colour this?
Jona didn't answer me, instead he look at Iz and say this
Jona: Why you go and complain to Momi huh?
In smaller tone,
Jona: You don't have to tell Momi about it. Who ask you to go and tell ar? It is a small matter. It is just colouring only and we can rub it away ourselves mah.
Iz: I don't know, it is you do it. So, I tell Momi.

And, so sponteously, Jona just hold Iz by shoulder and lead him out from kitchen without giving me the answer and continue watching tv TOGETHER like nothing happen.

????? How about you? If you are me, what your reaction will be?

Mother Day (Flashback of the celebration)

I have to admit that now, I start to enjoy mother day better compare to last year, even though this year, we don’t celebrate it at all ~ as my mom is away (in hometown), Dadi is travelling last weekend.

But, since Jona & Iz start to know the meaning of Mother Day (in their own way), it brings happier to me.

Jona make nice Mother Day card for me and he, himself feel proud of it. Even though he does give me the flower (on behalf of his kindy), maybe, he doesn’t contribute in making it, he seem not so keen when he present it to me. This son of mine is really a loving boy.

Last weekend, he even remind me and Iz that once we arrived at my sister house, we need to wish my sister “Happy Mother Day” because he say “Mommy, later when we go Aunty Flora’s house, we must also remember to wish Aunty Flora – ‘Happy Mother Day’. Because she is also a mother to Gaby”. I really speechless.

For Iz, he shows his love to me by presenting the flower in his special way. I think he is the kind of more like to present with action rather than wording compare to Jona. When I reach his kindy to fetch him back from nursery last Friday, he patiently waits for me behind the grill. From far, I can see him standing there with hands put at the back. At first, I didn’t though of anything. And, suddenly when teacher open the grill, he grin widely and ask me, “Mommy, do you know what is behind my back?” And, then, present me with this flower with the sweetest smile on his face. How thoughtful of him and wish me “Happy Mother Day”.

And, on Sunday, my pastor gives me these messages:

The meaning of the mother is universal:

M is for the million things she gives,
O means only that she is growing old,
T is for the tears she shed to save her child,
H is for her heart of purest-gold,
E is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
R means right, and right she will always be.

She spent sleepless nights when we were about to born.
She spent sleepless nights when we were very small.
She spent sleepless nights when we were going through our school exams.
She spent sleepless nights when we were used to come late during college days.
She spent sleepless nights when we went abroad for our 1st onsite assignments.
She spent sleepless nights when our marriage preparations were taking place.

And at the end…..what she gets in return.

Sleepless nights thinking of what she did wrong that her children left her alone at home to settle abroad?
She never complains, she never argues…..she only love and love and loves her children.
That’s the character of a Mother.

How touching……Here, I would like to wish all Mother a Happy Mother Day and hoping everyday, is a mother day to you!!!

Fun Fun time with Foams

Last weekend, suddenly I’m not feeling well again. I guess it might be due to weather, I got migraine attack again (after so long didn’t experience it). It is not funny at all this time, as Dadi is out of town. But, GOD is really listening to my prayer, as both boy boy really behave so well till I can’t believe myself.

They keep playing with their foam ~ non stop!! So fun and enjoying pasting the foam, plus lot of giggling among them. I have to say that I really proud with both of them esp. Jona. See from the outcome, it seems Jona really use his brain (being creative ~ alamak can’t think which side is for creativity). A cute people holding balloon, got cake with 1 candle, making a photo frame ~ All these is invented by Jona himself without any guideline from me. And, I like this the most: draw eyes and put one spiral foam as ‘tongue’…….

1st(from Left):I like most and the cutest one ~ funny face!! 2nd and 3rd from left: some of Jona creations

Left side: Photo frame with FOOD Right side: Jona first creation...

I still remember I bought this foam book as well as the foam set one year back when I went to Australia on biz trip. During that time, Jona didn’t really seem to be interest with it at all till last weekend; suddenly he took the foam out from box and start playing with it together with Iz.
Foam Book ~ full of ideas....

When the pre-cut foam shape is running out, it force Iz to start using his brain to think of how to utilize the remaining foam (as he can’t follow the design in the book anymore) which is good.

>
Iz creations, of course with the help from Momi and Jona(to paste). Upper, 3rd from left side: Iz own idea (without the help from book). And, Lower, 3rd from Right: His first creation ~ man holding balloon (copycat).

I just love to see my sons play and use their brain indirectly without forcing them to do homework esp. on weekend. This is definitely one of the ways to simulate their brain power. Too bad, that I just can’t find these kind of foam in any bookstore in Malaysia. Do you know where I can get this pre-cut foam shape again from Malaysia OR I have to go Oz again to get the supply?

Weekend Activities

Remember I say before that Dadi always complains that my son toys are too many and request me to stop buying anymore when I’m on my biz trip?

But, guess what? When I’m alone at home during weekend with 2 boys, it is really useful to have different kind of toys to occupy my prince’s free time. They will play on their own most of the time, of course, half of the time, screaming calling Momi for helps like “Momi, you see Jonathan. He doesn’t want to play with me” “Momi, you see Iz. He take away my toys”……Never ending.

The best part is, the outcome:

Jona & Iz just love their LEGO blocks so much. When they play with their LEGO, they are so creative. So far, I only teach them how to build house, farm animals, car etc. But, not so advance like Dinosaurs, etc. And, the second time, they play, they able to build house even better than me, and start making ‘swimming pool’, bathroom, set house alarm, make farm animal, etc..

This is Iz creation. His 'house' got many doors, windows, and bathroom with alarm system. Got tv set as well, and several beds for people to sleep and sheeps to sleep too.....
This is Jona creation, rebuild it second time after being 'destroy' by Iz when Iz is angry.....half way build(still under construction, I gues)

Doesn’t it look so nice & creative?

And, when they are bored with LEGO blocks, they will start drawing on piece of paper ~ anything that flash on their mind. Jona really able to draw better than Iz, and always end up, he is helping Iz with the drawing. But, before he helps Iz, he will say “Why you don’t know how to draw ar? If you don’t want to draw and keep ask me, then, why Momi need to send you to Art class?”
Fully occupied my fridge space with their creative drawing ~ crab, tree, flower, kite, sun, heart, honey in jar, apple, etc...(upper part belong to Iz and below part is Jona drawing)...

Seeing how their occupied their free time on weekend, I guess I better buy more stuffs esp LEGO blocks/drawing apparatus for them, what do you think, worth my investment on previous toys hor? I think it is time for me to go for some shopping since I have more free time when on biz trip rather than at home. Wondering whether LEGO will be cheap here in Oz/NZ compare to M'sia?

Wordless Picture

I just love this picture so much, when I first saw it (like love at first sign) ~ it is taken by Aunty Carol using her camera phone when we are having our lunch at Sunway Pyramid, Teppanyaki Restaurant last year.

Don't they look so adorable and loving?

From this picture, I can really feel how deep Jona & Iz love for Eviana, their lil cousin. Everytimes, they see Evi, they will immediately go hug and kiss her till she scream for help. And, Jona even volunteer to watch Evi when he is playing or watching tv: just to make sure Evi don't fall from the mattress, etc....See how caring Jona is.

When I show this pic to my colleagues and friends, immediately they thought it is my newborn(latest family member). **Alamak** No lar....I told you all already, that I already 'close production', 'factory close' liao.......

On top of that, last weekend, Jona told me "Mommy, next time, when you give birth, please give birth to me only or only one baby". When I asked why? His reply is "So, you don't have to buy 2 same toys mah, also then, I don't have to fight with Iz for the toy anymore"

Haha...you say ar, how to have 3rd baby when my loving son give this comment liao....kah,kah....

Homecook Meal on Weekend only

I remember it clearly that when I was young, weekend is a OFF DAY for my mom. It mean no cooking and we all went out to have our dinner. And, of course, we, as kids can't wait for weekend as beside could enjoy nice fastfood, etc, we will go for quick shopping too!!

And, this family culture didn't change as well, even though I married already with 2 kids till recently. When my mom staying with me all these while, she will be doing the cooking during weekdays and on weekend, we will go out and eat and do my weekly marketing ~ which I could see Jona and Iz miss this outing the most when grandma is not around.

Since 2 weeks ago, I have started cooking a simple meal for my 2 lovely princes. Just because of them, I start wearing apron, keep squeeze my brain to think what to cook for my princes: a healthy and simple meal as well as what to buy when I go to wet market. Initially, I don't really enjoy cooking as I always worried that my food will be 'rejected' and end up in dustbin (see how demotivate I am). So to really start cooking, I really have to brainstorm myself and keep telling myself that it is alright, Jona and Iz will love the food that I cook.

Taadaaa......on Sat dinner, I boil chicken soup + white fungus + red dates + wild fox eyes (sorry, don't really know how to call it in English), and it turn out to be perfect!!! Both my kids love the meal and finish their whole bowl of rice ~ yummy yummy.

And, yesterday night, I fried some luncheon meat + eggs and cook some veggie soup too. Both of them, finished their meal again with Jona comment "Mommy, enough, my stomach is so full now"......."Next week, can you cook again ABC Chicken soup for me?" "I like it", Jona request.

Geeee, showing their satisfied face + happy stomach = It mean I really have to cook home meal for them on weekend liao.....I guess, only working mom like me, able to cook weekend homecook meal for my kids. It also mean that I have to find some simple recipes to learn.

Different kind of expression

During 4th day of CNY, we went back to my hubby hometown to celebrate our CNY with my hubby family. Immediately arrive grandpa house, both my sons so excited and happy when their grandpa told them, he want to bring them to see different kind of tortoises at temple nearby his house.
Also at the same time, it mean I'll be having some of 'ME' time alone, hooray!!! And, Dadi is not to sure of just letting grandpa, his aunt and niece to watch out his 2 Baobei's, so, end up he follow as well.

See, this lil Iz, didn't even scare of tortoise will bite his finger off instead he dare to touch and rub the tortoise back!! I bet that if I was there, I will definitely won't let Iz does it. With grandpa, they are just too daring to do whatever they want as their grandpa is too pampering them since both Jona and Iz is the 1st & 2nd grandchild for my hubby side.

When they are back home after 1 hour plus fun, only one word came out from Ku Po's mouth ~ 'TIRED'!!! Ha,ha...now only they know it is not easy to manage 2 active boy boy ler.....But, of course the word came out from my boy boy mouth is 'FUN'!!

Let me serve you, Darling....

Dadi say, since boy boy are big enough, so, they don't need to use baby wipes to clean their feet anymore ~ it won't be clean. He did mention this to me several times, but, me as lazy Momi still prefer to use baby wipes ~ as both Jona & Iz, their immune system are not so strong, and they so easily catch cold or cough if suddenly being spray with water esp during night when they are ready to go to sleep.

Until I saw this pictures in my mobile phone one morning, only I knew Dadi really meant it to do the washing by himself.

"WAW", Dadi really love his 2 princes so much, till willing to take extra effort to wash their little feet to make sure it is clean and dry ~ even ready with the towel hang on to his shoulder. Ha,ha....I bet Dadi really don't mind to be his 2 Baobei servant at all.

Dadi, sometimes, you just pamper your 2 boy boy too much but guess that's Jona & Iz's Dadi anyway.

New Year, New HairStyle

Well, I don't really fancy or like this kind of hairstyle. Called me old fashion or old aunty but, I prefer boy boy hair to be 'smart' and 'nice', not too short/almost bald like army style(that's way too short).
So, during Jona & Iz kindy concert last year, their principal instructed all boy must have their hairstyle set like 'punk'. He put lots of gel on Jona and esp Iz hair just to make them straight up.....Ha,ha..it is really funny to see the way how he did it. But, too bad, it doesn't last too long......Maybe, Iz hair is too soft, so, it still drop back.

And, imagine he used up whole bottle of his gel!! Do you like this new hairstyle?

Cameron Trip - Pt 1

School holiday coming to end already, and seeing my kids so boring staying at home watching DVDs, throwing out all the toys from playroom, Dadi finally said "It is time to get out from the house and go somewhere else". And, it is Jona who decide that he want cold weather for simple holiday. So, there we go......

It is indeed a nice little place to go and I never imagine that we really have a lot of fun!!! We even manage to go so many places within few hours (to be exact 2 days 1 night): Butterfly farm, Rose Valley, Cactus Farm, Tea Plantation(worst scenario) and Strawberry Farm (the best experience for Jona).

Pictures can expressed how enjoy we are!!!

Jona get to pluck the strawberry and eat the ice cream too!!

See, nice the background or not.....don't know why Dadi, Jona & Iz don't even feel cold!!

Rose Valley, so beautiful...I love to stay longer but, blame myself: Forgot to bring sweater :(

Really 'City' Boy.....never see 'Kampung' Chicken before.... :)

Our first visit to Butterfly farm....

Merry X'mas Everyone!!

I thought this year, my loving Christmas tree will be spare from any disturbance. And, who know, it isn't.......See the outcome....Who did this? Well, you all should be able to guess it - it is my lil Iz......Why? Well, it is not because of his naughtiness, indeed, he treat this Christmas tree as the place where he release his STRESS!!

When he is bully by his kor kor or lil nephew, Gaby, he will run and go to the Christmas tree, and shake shake the tree to release his stress. Then, he will be OK again, and poor the Christmas tree, all the decorations just dropped to the floor. After being treated like this several times, I and my mom really give up hope of hanging back the decorations...
But, the best part of this Christmas season this year are my boys. They really growing up. See, all the pressies, it has not been opened at all since I or my mom or their aunties bought it for them. All they did, just play with the pressies without tearing off the wrapping as Jona will always keep remind Iz saying: "You only can open this present on Christmas day - 25th Dec" and both just giggling with it....

So impressive to see Jona has so strong determination and can withstand the temptation. I really salute him as he is just a 5 years old boy.

Ha,ha..even though my Christmas tree look awful, but, below the Christmas tree, you still see a lot of pressies right? And, it still look like Christmas hor.....Happy X'Mas to all of you. And, may you enjoy this day with your family & loved one!!!

Shopping fun during Pre-Christmas..........

Being pretty busy - workloads, handling kids, and the most is, busy shopping!!! Since last week, I have 2 official holidays, due to Sultan Selangor birthday as well as Hari Raya Haji, immediately grab this opportunity to shop.

I guess Jona & Iz even happier than me.....so, on last Thu, brought my 2 kids shopping to MidValley, since ages I have been there. I don't like shopping in MidValley during weekend (sea people!!) and thought that since it is only Sultan Selangor Birthday it shouldn't be too crowded. Boy, I was really wrong and thanks goodness I went earlier, arrive around 10am, and by the time, I leave; 2+ pm, imagine, whole MidValley (I mean entry to MidValley - don't care whether it is from PJ to MV or from KL to MV), all jammed and pack up. All the parking bay give BIG sign - FULL!!!

Anyway, I really do enjoy having a quick shopping provided me with 4 hours shopped - manage to buy what I want: sport shoe for myself, Jona & Iz's new year shoes and as well as their christmas pressie - that is the most important task given.....

Jona just love to take pictures, and keep asking me, 'Momi, your handphone still got battery or not?' If yes, this is the outcome.....

Instead for lil Iz, when I asked him, he just shake shake his head and sit still in his stroller with sour face - not photo friendly at all.
Not only sour face, this little naughty Iz, while I busy trying new pants and clothes inside the fitting room (and due to his unhappiness of me not buying a helium balloon for him first), he threaten me "Momi, you want me to take your naked photo or not".......
Shopping with them is fun, but, also tiring as well.......need to fullfill their demand/threaten before can proceed to buy my stuff. Don't you agree with me? **piak**
