Out of Guilty???

Yes, I'm travelling again......I'm travelling to this country where they serve the best 'Mango Snow Ice' just like our ABC. It is really tasty and nice(with lot of condense milk).....but, too bad, this time, because it is Auturm, they don't have mango available(what an excuse!!)

My Dinner with my favorite Snow Ice!!!
I don't know why this time, I feel so guilty of not spending weekend time with my 2 boys. I guess I really prefer to spend my weekend with my kids, as weekend mean, more free time together and can do whatever we want at home(Dadi also agree with me when he spend last weekend at home)....Dadi say "It is so relaxing and enjoyable!!"

And, I know it is wrong of compensate my 'away' time with kid by buying things as they request. I think it is just to make myself happy. Sometimes, tt is so hard to be a working mom, especially working mom that involve lot of travelling. PLUS, when the 'management' don't really appreaciate what you did and sacrifice. When I left home on Tuesday, Wednesday, Jona fall sick ~ fever, cough, flu and phelgm. I really hate it when I travel, my son not feeling well......I don't know why, I just prefer to stay at home when this happen(but I know it is impossible), as I don't wish Iz 'incident ~ getting febrile fit' happen again.

Remote Car for Jona AND Helicopter for Iz...(hope Dadi wont' fainted again this time)
Backdate conversation:-
Me: Jona, Iz, Momi need to go travelling again soon
Iz: Momi, where ar?
Me: Taiwan
Iz: Must take aeroplane one ar?
Me: Yes
Iz: Momi, this time, I want aeroplane got control remote one, ok?
Me: Ok, I try my best ya, but, no promise whether I got time to shop or not. How about you, Jona?
Jona: Momi, next time, you don't have to ask me what I want. Anything, just buy anything for me. Anything, I will like it one.
Me: **speechless** ok.

CARS hanger and the craft foam!! I manage to find it in Taiwan, and they even have so many choices like flower, butterfly shape, etc...

And, now, I really can't wait to go home, as I have something for them when they see me. I feel bad everytimes, if I can't buy what they want. As esp Iz, every night, when I talk to him, he will ask me "Momi, where are you now?" "Have you buy me an aeroplane control remote one ar?"

Weekend Activities

Remember I say before that Dadi always complains that my son toys are too many and request me to stop buying anymore when I’m on my biz trip?

But, guess what? When I’m alone at home during weekend with 2 boys, it is really useful to have different kind of toys to occupy my prince’s free time. They will play on their own most of the time, of course, half of the time, screaming calling Momi for helps like “Momi, you see Jonathan. He doesn’t want to play with me” “Momi, you see Iz. He take away my toys”……Never ending.

The best part is, the outcome:

Jona & Iz just love their LEGO blocks so much. When they play with their LEGO, they are so creative. So far, I only teach them how to build house, farm animals, car etc. But, not so advance like Dinosaurs, etc. And, the second time, they play, they able to build house even better than me, and start making ‘swimming pool’, bathroom, set house alarm, make farm animal, etc..

This is Iz creation. His 'house' got many doors, windows, and bathroom with alarm system. Got tv set as well, and several beds for people to sleep and sheeps to sleep too.....
This is Jona creation, rebuild it second time after being 'destroy' by Iz when Iz is angry.....half way build(still under construction, I gues)

Doesn’t it look so nice & creative?

And, when they are bored with LEGO blocks, they will start drawing on piece of paper ~ anything that flash on their mind. Jona really able to draw better than Iz, and always end up, he is helping Iz with the drawing. But, before he helps Iz, he will say “Why you don’t know how to draw ar? If you don’t want to draw and keep ask me, then, why Momi need to send you to Art class?”
Fully occupied my fridge space with their creative drawing ~ crab, tree, flower, kite, sun, heart, honey in jar, apple, etc...(upper part belong to Iz and below part is Jona drawing)...

Seeing how their occupied their free time on weekend, I guess I better buy more stuffs esp LEGO blocks/drawing apparatus for them, what do you think, worth my investment on previous toys hor? I think it is time for me to go for some shopping since I have more free time when on biz trip rather than at home. Wondering whether LEGO will be cheap here in Oz/NZ compare to M'sia?

It is getting cold now.....

My travelling season started again, and soon, I will be travelling to Australia & New Zealand.......some of you might think it is fun and wonderful, but, I feel a bit sad. Why? Let me tell you why.....

Past few days, I told my boy boy that I will be going outstation again ~ Australia. And, guess what are their response?

Jona: Hooray!!!! Then, Dadi can take care of me everyday (haha....he is very timid, even though we all sleep in one room, he still insist that when Dadi not around, I need to sleep in between of him ~ in single bed and Iz ~ in King size bed. But, I reluctant as it is not comfortable at all). And, you just buy anything for me.

Iz: Then, you can buy for me the 'chop' in Red, yellow, Purple colour....and also buy for me the remote control boat where I can play on river........

See, you say I feel sad or not :(. Come to think of it, maybe, my boy get used to it already that Momi need to travel to earn more money, and they are now happy about it and used to it already. Guess I should just be happy with the travelling right? And, buy them some more 'stamping' stuff as they wished........

Note: This is Jona's art of using stamping to create the 'body' and then, use pen to draw the hands and legs, mouth and eyes ~ for me, I guess it is how he differentiate between girl and boy, haha...girl with some curly hair and red lip!!

Overkilling travelling.....

Just after I complaint of getting bored of not travelling for a month, now, I'm over exhausted of keep travelling......

Today, I'm in Singapore for several days, next week, guess where I go? Yup....to Brisbane for several days again...

I truly MISS my boy boy so much!!!! Aaarrggghhhh!!!! Especially, I do realise that my boy boy has grown up so fast. Just call back home, and nowadays, I can chit chat with my boy - Jona & Iz just like adult talk.

Iz: Mommy, why you don't go buy transformer for me?
Momi: Outside raining, cannot go
Iz: Then, you take umbrella.
Momi: Cannot
Jona: Are you in the hotel now?
Momi: Yes
Iz: What noise is that?
Momi: I'm eating
Iz: With Friends?
Momi: Nope. Alone
Iz: Why, you no friend one?
Ha,ha.....It make me even missing you more, Jona & Iz!!!

Shopping - Outcome

Have been pretty busy since I back from Bangkok - so many things to manage, handle(kids, work, housechores, etc).....really headache.....but, after thinking of the things that I bought from Bangkok, all is worthwhile.........

I thought that I have manage to control myself from buying things anymore....but, who know, when see the things so cheap in Bangkok, my hands just started to feel 'itchy' again.......
This is the most proud item that I bought.....I really love it so much, it so nice and then, I can use it to decorate my house when Chinese New Year arrived. Not need to do much cleaning, except tidying some red ribbon....And, I thought I can start decorate my house since my 2 princes is growing up liao, and who know, esp Iz, just crazy over the light. He just ON and OFF it non stop till I give up.....and, guess what, everything only cost me RM 55!!!

And, some other things for my kids and nephew and nieces...All really cheap wor....Clipper only RM 1 each, and the t-shirt(100% cotton) only RM 8 per piece. And, the accessories like note pad, etc, only cost me RM 3.90 per pack which contain lots of items as you can see.

Not forgetting wind chime - only RM 13......to make more noise - prevent me from hearing crazy neigbours talking/complaints!!

Except the magnets, cost me quite a lot, RM 2.70 per piece but, since everyone got souvenior, I need to buy for my mom right? And, not forgetting hubby - who forever only wear original HardRock shirt........
Good shopping ler, and I only end up spending around RM 200+.......ha,ha..who wanna join me for shopping in Bangkok again??

Travel: Shopping, shopping...

Times for me to travel again after 'stop' for a month.......and, you know what, the feeling is just so different, indeed, I seem to miss my frequent travelling....ha,ha...when I travel too extensive, I just feel so tired, but, then, when I don't travel that frequent, now, I start to miss travelling. Human is always Human....
Of course, if ask me to choose between travel or stay at home with my kids, I still firm with my answer: Stay at home with my kids!!!

This time, it is slightly different mainly because I got companion to travel with me - my colleague and to Bangkok!!!

And, I can shopping esp at night......mmm, I really do miss Bangkok, my favourite dessert: Water chestnut with cempadak.

This morning, Jona told me: "Momi, you go Bangkok, remember buy for me Transformer sticker okie?"
And, for little Iz, "Momi, you go today, when you coming back?" "Coming back faster ok?"

Goodies from US!!

Grandma went to US recently for almost 3 weeks with my bro and sis-in-law. She bought a lot of pressie for us, like 'no need money to buy'....ha,ha...of course, I'm so happy, as well as my kids.

See, both boys immediately wear some of their t-shirts and pose the photo for their uncle to see....It is from Disneyland. There are a lot of other goodies, which I really have no time to take pictures of it, as my sons just grab it and say "This is Grandma buy for me one!!" and run away. And, now and then, when they watch Disneyland promotion in Astro, they will shouted "Mommy, I want to go Disneyland. Bring me there, ok?"
But, one thing, which I love most is this.....taddaaaaaa......

A COACH bag!!! Nice or not? It is really so cheap in US. She bought 5 pieces only, and now, she is a bit regret of not 'buying' more as she scared my bro will shake his head. The price range from US 50 - US 130.

She did buy some HardRock jacket for around US100, DKNY for US20, few Ralph Lauren Polo shirts for hubby around US 39.99. Cheap bor?

Previously, I really hate going US(due to long hour flight), even no matter how my boss persuade me. He,he...now, at least, with my mom comments, and the way she buy goodies, I really tempted to go US myself one day.....ha,ha....."A boss, can let me go now ar?"

Travel: Taiwan

What a horrible experience on this trip. On my way to Taipei last Thu, imagine, you paying so high price for the MAS airline and you are sweating inside their plane before depart. Previously, in my hubby old car, when the car is not moving, the air compressor or air con is not working, so I will feel extremely hot and warm - sometimes feel dizzy.
And, in MAS flight, it is the first time, I experience the same scenario. The aeroplane compressor is spoilt and imagine, you are stuck inside big AirBus with so many people and still waiting for some passengers to be on board!!! And, the pilot just apologise for the condition saying.......and when the plane start moving, the air con will back to normal". The flight is flying to Taipei and then, Los Angeles!!

Geee, I just wondering, where does the money goes to? Shouldn't the airline service their plane frequently?

And, now, I might be stuck in Taipei due to their 'unexpected' typhoon.....Aiyooo, now, only I know, when I heard the new of Typhoon when I back home(from CNN channel), I don't really feel it and don't really know how serious the Typhoon can bring. But, now, since I stuck in Taipei and might not be able to go home tomorrow....I can feel the tense that Taipei people is facing now. The government has announced that tomorrow is declare public holiday due to Typhoon and it will get worst from tonight till tomorrow afternoon. They expected the typhoon to be strong typhoon.

So, I really don't know what to do. I do miss my boys and, I need to call airline tomorrow to confirm and if not cancel, then, my flight might be delayed or I will be transfer to another airline or transit at some other countries!!

Just pray for me that I will be able to go home safely!! The typhoon is horrible and it really blow the cloud so fast.........

Travel - Singapore again...

You all must be wondering, where on earth I have been 'hidding'......Yalor, I'm travelling again, and my schedule is really tight, minute you see me back, minute you see I'm on the sky again. That's what Jona said to me "What, again? Why you keep travelling one?" When I told him that I will be travelling again this Thu.

Just back from Singapore, and find out one thing. Singapore is really full of rules!!! Minute they said, you can do this, minute, they implement the rule and if you didn't bother it, you will be fine.

Previous month, I totally have no problem of waving to taxi to stop and fetch me to any destination that I want. But, this trip, I NEED to find a TAXI STAND to stop taxi, otherwise, the taxi just won't stop!! Imagine, even though I stay in hotel, and the hotel doesn't has taxi stand, meaning, I have to walk some distance to grab taxi....

And, also, immediately I enter the taxi, all of the taxi driver keep complain to me about the high living standard, everything so expensive nowadays, etc......it seem Singaporean is feeling the pinch as well...and even there is one taxi driver who told me that if he is rich, he will like to stay in China rather than Singapore.....ha,ha...do you believe about it? Guess by the time, he is really rich, I doubt he will choose China liao...

Taipei - Nice Places to go (Part 3)

Once we back from Hualien, we spend rest of the time in Taipei, by visiting -> the famous and no.1 highest tower in the world: 101 Taipei -> proceed to 'Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall' -> 'Fashion Street' -> 'Keelung' -> and not forgotten, 'HuaXin' Night market where Jona is so excited about the snake (they kill the snake and drink the blood or eat the spleen, etc for certain price). With this, they even willing to kill the snake in front of the audience. Of course, all these visit is not done in ONE day....

f) Night Markets....all over Taipei: Keelung, HuaXi, Shilin,etc....
g) Background, Keelung Port Harbour

Beside visiting place around Taipei, we do go to other locations like JiaoFeng and XinBeitou, taking train or MRT....

JiaoFeng, is really a nice place to go, by train, take only 30 mins. It is up in the hill, and actually, a small and old street - lots of food, things to buy as well as the view from top. There are several movies being taken from JiaoFeng. Worth going lor....

XinBeitou - I like it the most, due to the natural quiet town with pleasant weather, got a BIG library in town, beside natural famous HOT spring (the water is really hot ler), as well as seeing their cultures with different ethnic....While my mom and Jona went to the library, we (me & hubby, my sis) going to hot spring to 'pamper' ourselves.....ha,ha....

h) JiaoFen - old street
i) Culture village in XinBeitou
j) Big library like ship shape in XinBeitou
k) Natural Hot Spring with high temperature
l) Mickey Mouse umbrella for Iz....
This Mickey Umbrella is one of the gifts that I bought for Iz, nice or not? Ha,ha....very cheap ler, cost me only RM 10!!! Who want it?? he,he...

Taiwan - Nice Places to go (Part 2)

Talk about foods, now, the places that I manage to visit :)...since it is free & easy trip, we don't really force ourselves too much on following the schedule, like sleep till 10am, and start our day!

Hualien, definitely is a nice place to visit, even thought it is a small town, but, the food there, is really fresh and yummy and cheap too...Even the accomodation there is cheap and worth the money. In Hualien, we stay in 'Ming Shu' - a house that convert into hotel, RM 150 for 4 persons per night, include nice and healthy breakfast too(cheap ler)!!

a) Left Side: HuaLien town

b) Right Side: 'Ming Shu' House

Nothing much in Hualien, except watching Dolphin in real ocean...Imagine, ha,ha....Jona is so excited and manage to see small dolphins before he zzzz off. After spending 2 hours in ocean searching for Dolphin, we manage to see 2 types of Dolphin family.....really impressed, and they all usually go by group, and it is really huge for some species....

a) Jona excited watching a group of dolphin swim around

b) Right side: Can see the dolphins swimming?? Too small ler...

Too bad, my mom has sea sickness, and it is a nightmare trip for her. Not cheap at all, it cost us around RM 350 for this trip......Since nothing much to see in Hualien at night, we went to culture show (perform by students)....and later buy the famous stone at the market..since nothing to buy there :P

The next day, is the wonderful trip: Taroko National Park, if you go to Taiwan, you definitely need to go to this place......it is really wonderful, the scenario, etc....can't express by word, but, one thing, it is really tiring ler....keep walking, walking, walking..........

And, before back to Taipei again, we went to their beach......of course, this is for sure, can't beat our Malaysia beach.....

Will continue again in my next post, of the places we go in Taipei........

Taiwan - 'Heaven of Food' (Part 1)

Visit Taiwan in 7 days, 6 nights definitely is not enough - that's the comment from Aunty Carol(my youngest sis)...and, it is true. For this trip, we only visit Hualien and Taipei, but, of course, my sis and my mom mission is: they will try to revisit Taiwan again, but, maybe, another location like Taichung and Kaoshiung. We choose 'free & easy' trip, meaning, everything we arrange by ourselves without needing any tour guide package at all. And, the outcome: Fanstastic!!!

One thing for sure is, Taiwan, is definitely can be called 'Heaven of Food', due to varieties type of food available. Testing food is definitely my hubby job and he LOVES it so much...since he has nothing to buy or spend, so, he might as well spend it on food....

Immediately, we arrived in Taipei, this is where we head to at 10pm(since we just stay nearby: "Xi Meng Ting").....lots of shopping and food...

Famous Mee Sua called 'Ah Chung Mee Sua'.....looks so 'terrible' but, really taste so nice ler.....even my fussy eater, Jona is having few spoons out of it. And, the dislike part is, they don't provide any chairs or tables for you to eat. You have to either stand and eat or just sit somewhere else to eat...and funny part, it is so famous till people willing to queue for it.

The following night, in Hualien, this is what we had. "Coffin Bread", "Toasted food", "Duck Tougue",etc......The coffin bread is the famous in Hualien, so nice and yummy, and only cost us around RM 4. You should try it if you happen to be in Hualien.

See Jona so hungry ler....ha,ha..of course lor, after seeing Dolphin, and miss his milk meal. Finally, he willing to taste food beside than his milk.

JiaoFen is also another location that has plenty of food (really can't find it in M'sia) and the food really taste yummy too. I, esp love this 'jelly' which claim made from healthy ingredients and hand made as well, which all of us just love to eat and munch on it. Too bad, we can't 'tapau' it back to M'sia, otherwise I bet Iz will love it too....

Imagine, everyday, eating food from the stalls, and till the last day, still can't taste all the foods!! Ha,ha.....Anyway, the funny part about Taiwanese is, as long as the food taste nice, they all just willing to queue for it, even though the queue is sooooo long....*aiyah*

Of course, beside stall foods, we do eat in nice restaurant too - Keelung Seafood Restaurant, even though it is located in Taipei City. The food is really fresh and juicy...Taiwanese love to copy Japanese style.

Of course, hubby mission is to try all the 'funny' & 'weird' food in Taiwan include his 'Smelly Taufu'.....which only Aunty Carol willing to accompany him to eat....Eeeeukkkk!!! So awful and smelly - no more kissing from Dadi for a week!!....he,he....

Anyone dare to try it??
